SELECT Knob Use the SELECT knob to set countdown timer, cooking temperature, as well as cooking mode. Preparing to Use the Sous Side Multi cooker Before using this product for the first time: 1. Review ALL waning and caution statements on gaps 1 and 2 before proceeding. 2. Carefully remove all the parts from the box. Wash the cooking pot, steaming/ roasting rack with warm, soapy water. The cooking pot, steaming/roasting rack can be washed in the dishwasher. Preparing to Use the Sous Side Multi cooker 11. Usage of electric temperature probe: a. The electric temperature probe sits into the storage slot of inside top cover when it doesn’t work. After powering on, electric probe will automatically check and reset back to proper location. b. All cooking modes use the electric temperature probe to collect accurate temperature data for better cooking performance.
Using the Different Functions SOUS VIED . Place cooking pot into the unit's main housing and plug in the unit. Place your ingredients in the cocking pot then cover the pot with the lid. Press the MODE button or tum SELECT knob to choose SOUS VIED. The arrow and frame icons blink and temperature display will read 60 °C as default temperature. . Press the TIME button then time display blinks with default 08:00. Use SELECT knob to adjust cooking time between 1 minute and 89 hours.
7. When the water temperature reaches set temperature, the cooking time will start countdown. When timer counts fo 0, buzzer beeps 2 times then unit goes into keep warm. LCD screen displays the time of keep warm. Please note this unit has 2 settings of keep warm temperature: 1) if cooking temperature is higher than 60 °C, the keep warm temperature will be set at 60°C; 2) if cooking temperature is lower than 60 °C, the keep warm temperature will be same as cooking temperature.
SAUTE . Place cooking pot into the unit's main housing and plug in the unit. Then place your ingredients in the cooking pot. If the lid becomes too hot during operation, the device will stop cooking and the display will read “Open Lid". Keep the lid open and PRESS/START to continue cooking. The “Open Lid” waning is triggered when the top temperature probe detects a temperature higher than 100°C. 2. ¢.When the unit works at DELAY mode and you want to change cooking temperature and time, you may pause unit by pressing START/PAUSE button first. Then press the TEMP button to adjust temperature from HIGH, LOW, WARM or press the TIME button and tum SELECT knob to adjust time. b.If you want to change presetting time, press TIME button and tum SELECT knob to adjust; then press START/PAUSE button to restart operation of DELAY mode. e.
4. The time countdown starts from last 12 minutes. When cooking is complete, the unit gets into warming mode that temperature screen displays “WARM” and buzzer beeps 2 times.
