Install Batteries Using USB Charge socket Connect a USB cable( not supplied) to the USB1 or USB2 socket to charge your smartphone or tablet PC. • You can only use AC power as power supply. Batteries ( not supplied ) are for backup purpose. • If the system is unplugged or if a power failure occurs, all settings of the unit will be erased unless there are batteries in the unit and you do not change them while disconnected from a power source.
General Operation Power ON/OFF • • • • 3 When you first connect the unit to the main socket, the unit will be in STANDBY mode. Press the ON/OFF/SOURCE button on the main unit or the ON/OFF button on the remote control to switch the main unit ON. Press and hold the ON/OFF/SOURCE button on the main unit or press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to switch the main unit back to Standby mode. Disconnect the main plug from the main socket if you want to switch the unit off completely.
