How To Test USB Wireless Controller in
Windows 10 System
Set Up Nintendo Switch Game Console To
use wireless controller
II. How to test controller in windows system.
1. Please ignore this step if you had paired USB adapter with wireless controller.
2. Because the wireless controller has been matched with the SNES adapter in
the factory, when you need to use the USB adapter, you need to re-paring the
controller with the USB adapter. You only need to pair it once until the next time
if you switch the wireless adapter.
3. The paring method is as follows: (please refer to the user menu or label on controller)
Step1: Press and hold the START+SELECT+UP for 1s Controller will enter into
pairing mode, and the Red LED flashes quickly for 10s to wait a new
adapter to pair.
Step2: Then plug USB adapter into the USB port of PC. the red light stopped
flashing, pairing is successfull. You can start to test controller. after test
you can configure the button with game emulator, You can play game.
I. Paring the Controller with USB adpter.

with the USB adapter. You only need to pair it once until the next time if you change
the wireless adapter.

3.Find and select the “Bluetooth and other
Devices”.
5. Select the “Xbox360 Controller...”icon,
and click right key of mice, then select
“Game controller sengs” and double
click by mouse le key enter it.
7. if your controller has paired with USB adapter,
you can press down the buon of controller,
the circle icon will be light up on test page.
6. Select the “Controller(XBOX360 for windows) ...”
then select “Properes” enter it.
4.Find the“Related sengs\Devices and printers”
and enter it.

le corner of the windows desktop and
enter control panel.
2.Find the “Devices” icon in windows sengs
and enter it.
III. X-Input and D-input mode of USB adapter
The USB adapter has two kind of input work mode:
A. XBOX360 input mode(X-input) and B. Direct input mode(D-input).
Gamer can change the input mode by wireless controller.
Changing method as bellow:
1. Press and hold L+SELECT+X buon of controller 1s, the USB adapter will change
the input mode to X-input mode.
2. Press and hold L+SELECT+Y buon of controller 1s, the USB adapter will change
the input mode to D-input mode.
IV. How choose of input mode in different windows system
1. X-input mode usually used for windows 8 or later version system.
when gamer plug USB adapter into the PC USB port in first me, windows system,
(WIN 8 or WIN10) OS will install a driver automacally for USB adapter.
2. D-input mode can used for any version windows operang system and Apple IOS
if your PC is Apple’s MAC or other computer, you must be change the USB adapter
working to under D-input mode. because some IOS can’t support X-input mode. It
can't install a driver for X-input mode of USB adapter.
Step 2. Set the SWITCH Console Wired controller to "on" state.
Step 3. Find the wireless controller in SWITCH game console .
Step 4. Complete setting the controller in the SWITCH Console.

main page of switch.
1. Select the “Controllers” icon on the main
page of switch.
2. Select the “Change Grip/Order” icon and
Press A buon get in.
3. Take the USB adapter into the USB port of
the SWITCH docking. According to Step1
paring the controller with USB dapter.
The wireless controller just need pair and set for the first me use, you need to reset
it if you want play game with another type of adapter(e.g. to change from USB adapter
to SNES mini adapter).
5. Select the "Close" to complete seng.
4. Press the L+R buons of wireless controller
at the same me, A ‘’Pro controller’’ icon will
appears on the TV screen. press the A key to
confirm.
2. Find the "Controllers and sensors" on the le
side of the sengs page, then enter into right
side set "Pro controller Wired Co-mmunicaon"
to "on" state, and then press the B key on joycon
controller return to the main menu.

Link Mode: The LED indicator will be on when the controller and Adapter

Standby Mode: Without any actions for 5s ,Controller will enter into standby
mode, and Controller LED will be off.

Controller working status
2. Press START button, the red LED will light, which means they are connected.
3. Without any actions for 5 seconds, Controller will enter into the standby mode.
Red LED on controller will be off and the LED on adapter will flash.
Pressing any button can wake up the Controller.
4. Without any actions for 10 minutes, Controller will enter into sleep mode.You can
wake up the controller only by pressing the Start button .

5. Press the START+SELECT at the same time will return to main menu of SNES
game system.

to turn off the Buon turbo funcon.
LED Indicate For Turbo Function:
When any buon of A/B/X/Y has turbo funcon,The
Red LED will flash when the buon is pressed.
