Dear Customer, We thank you very much for choosing our products. The instructions and advice included in this booklet are given to safeguard your safety and to use this appliance correctly. Be so kind as to keep this booklet. It will be useful to clear any doubt concerning its operation. This appliance must be only assigned to the use for which it has been realized, that is for cooking food. Any other use has to be considered incorrect and therefore dangerous.

2 - USE OF THE HOB BURNERS Each burner is controlled by a gas tap assuring the opening and the closing of the gas supply. Make the symbols printed on the knob to match with the indicator on the control panel: ELECTRIC IGNITION – symbol : off The sparks generated by the electrodes close to the burners will ignite the chosen burner. – symbol : full on (nominal rate) – symbol : reduced rate To open the tap, which allows the flow of gas to the burner, push the knob and turn it towards the left.
CHOICE OF THE BURNER On the control panel, near every knob, there is a diagram that indicates which burner is controlled by that knob. The suitable burner must be chosen according to the diameter and the capacityused.
3 - GAS OVEN Attention: the oven too becomes very hot during operation. Keep children away. The cooker lid must be kept open when the gas oven is inuse. GENERAL FEATURES The oven is furnished completely clean; it is advisable, however, upon first use, to turn the oven on to the maximum temperature (position 10) for about 15 minutes to eliminate possible traces of grease from the oven burner. The same operation should be followed for grill burner.
THERMOSTAT OVEN COOKING The numbers to 1 to10 printed on the knob (fig. 3.3) indicate the increasing oven temperature value (see table 3.4). To regulate the temperature, set the chosen number onto the control panel indicator (or onto the knob indicator). To cook, before introducing the food, preheat the oven to the desired temperature (see table 3.4).
LIGHTING OF THE GRILL BURNER The cooker lid must b e keptopen when grill is in use. Open the oven door. Press thoroughly and turn clockwise the oven gas thermostat knob to set symbol (fig. 3.5). 1) Put a flame to the right and left side of the burner for 2-3 2) seconds after the thermostat has been opened (fig.3.6). Do not close completely the oven door. The grill must always be used with the oven door slightly open and with the shield “A” mounted(fig. 3.7).
ROTISSERIE This device is made up of: – an electrical motor mounted on the rear part of the oven; – a stainless steel rod, equipped with a detachable athermic grip and 2 recordable forks; – a rod support to be inserted into the central rack holders of the oven. The rotisserie motor is operated by the switch indicated by the symbol on the control panel (fig. 3.9).
4 - GENERAL ADVICE * When the appliance is not being used, it is advisable to keep the gas tap closed. From time to check to make sure that the flexible tube that connects the gas line or the gas cylinder to the appliance is in perfect condition and substitute it at printed due date, or if it shows signs of wearing or damage. * In case of difficulty in the gas taps operation, call Service. Do not close the cooker lid when the burners or grill are still hot and when the oven is on or still hot.
5 - CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Always switch the cooker off at the mains isolating switch before cleaning or touching any electrical part. GENERAL ADVICE It is advisable to clean when the appliance is cold and especially for cleaning the enamelled parts. Avoid leaving alkaline or acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) On the surfaces. Avoid using cleaning products with a chlorine or acid base. Do not use a steam cleaner because the moisture can get into the appliance thus make it unsafe.
BURNERS They can be removed and washed with soapy water only. They will remain always perfect if cleaned with products used for silverware. After cleaning or wash, check that burner-caps and burner-heads are dry before placing them in the respective housings. SUBSTITUTIONOFTHEOVEN LIGHT Before effecting any intervention on the electrical parts of the appliance, the connection t o the network m u s t be interrupted. The bulb must be a type resistant to high temperatures (300° C).
Advice for the installer IMPORTANT – Cooker installation, regulation and conversion to other gas types must only be carried out by QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS. Failure to observe this rule will invalidate the warranty. – The appliance must be installed in compliance with the laws in force in your country and in observation of the instructions suppliedby the manufacturer. – The electrical mains outlet, if located behind the cooker, must not be higher than 18 cmabove the floor level.
INSTALLATION The cooker afford class “1” protection against overheating of surrounding surfaces. A space of at least 2 cm must be left between the cooker and any adjacent furniture, which must not exceed the height of the cooktop (fig. 5.3). The walls of the units must not be higher than work top and must be capable of resisting temperatures of 75°C above room temperature. Do not install the appliance near inflammable materials (eg. curtains). Fig. 5.
CHOOSING SUITABLE SURROUNDINGS In the room chosen to accommodate the gas appliance, there must be an adequate natural draft to allow combustion of the gas. The natural draft must be produced directly by one or more vents made in the external walls and providing a total opening of at least 100 cm². If the appliance does not have a no-flame safety device, this opening m ust have an area of at least 200 cm².
6 - GAS SECTION GASES The gases used for the operation of cooking appliance may begroupedby their characteristicsinto two types: – L.P.G. (Incylinders) (G30/ G 31) – NATURALGAS (G20) INSTALLATION The appliance is predisposed and adjusted to operate with the gas indicated on the specifications plate appliedonto the appliance.
1 -GAS CONNECTION The connection must be executed by specialized fitter according to the relevant standard. The fitting (fig. 6.2) ismadeupof: - 1 elbow fitting “A” - 1 adapter “C” for natural gas - 1 adapter “B” for L.P.G. - gasket “D” Natural gas G 20 - (fig. 6.2) – Fit up the holder “C” to the elbow “A” interposing gasket “D”. – Connect the cooker to the gas net by a suitable rubber tube (inside diameter 15 mm).
2 - REPLACEMENT OF THE TOP INJECTORS Each cooker is outfitted with small bag including a set of injectors for each kind of gas, whose diameter is marked on theinjector in centsof millimetre. Operations to be followed for the replacement of the injectors (worth for all k ind of gases): – Lift the cooking top (fig. 6.4). – Fully raise the adjusting air tube A (fig. 6.5) in order to easily reach the injector.
3 - ADJUSTMENT OF PRIMARY AIR OF TOP BURNERS This operation is to be performed bearing in mind that the flame may be as specified below, indipendently of the kind of gas.

Fig. 6.7 5 - REPLACEMENT OF THE OVEN BURNER INJECTOR According to the type of gas, the oven injector must be similarly replaced, as stated on the table of the injectors, operating as follows: –remove the oven bottom. –unscrew theburner fixing screw (fig. 6.7). –slip the burner itself from the oven (fig. 6.8). –remove the injector from the connection and replace it with the proper one (see “Injectors table”).
7 - PRIMARY A IR OF THEOVEN BURNER 8 - PRIMARY AIR OF THE GRILL BURNER With a screwdriver untighten the two screws (fig. 6.11) and move forward or backward to close or open the air flow, according to the “injector table”. Light the burner and check the flames. With a screwdriver untighten the screw (fig. 6.12) and turn the air ring to close or open the air flow, according to the“Injectors table”. 9 - REGULATINGOFTHEOVEN MINIMUM To be effected operating as follows: – light the oven taking the knob to position 10 (max). – remove the knob and by a screwdriver, unscrew of about a half turn the by-pass screw “F” (fig. 6.13), passing troughs the front panel hole. – fit the knob and let the oven heat for 10 minutes, then take the knob to position 1 allowing the thermostat to work under by-pass.
7 - ELECTRICAL SECTION IMPORTANT: the cooker must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Incorrect installation, for which the manufacturer accepts no responsibility, may damage to person, animals and things. GENERAL – Connection to the mains must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with current regulations.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION To connect the supply cable: –Remove the screws securing the cover “A” on the rear of the cooker (fig. 7.2). –Feed the supply cable through the cable clamp “D”. The supply cable must be of a suitable size for the current requirements of the appliance; see the section “Feeder cable section”. –Connect the wires to the terminal block “B” as shown in the diagram in figure 7.1. –Take up any slack in the cable and secure with the cable clamp “D”. –Replace the cover “A”.
