Position 1000 (or 1200) corresponds to 900 r.p.m. for synthetics, wool and handwash and 700 r.p.m. for delicates. Position 500 corresponds to 450 r.p.m. for delicates and 500 r.p.m. for synthetics, wool and handwash. ● NO SPIN: by selecting this option all the spinning phases are suppressed. To be used for extremely delicate items.

At the end of the programme the selector dial must be turned to position O, to switch the machine off. Spin Separate spin for hand washed garments and after programmes with RINSE HOLD option. Before selecting this programme the selector dial must be turned to “O”.

Select the required programme Before the first wash, we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 95°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour 1/2 a measure of detergent into the dispenser drawer and start the machine.

Before you start the programme, if you wish to delay the start, press the Delay Start button repeatedly, to select the desired delay. The relevant light illuminates. 9. Interrupting a programme Depress the Start/Pause button to interrupt a programme which is running, the corresponding light starts to flash. Depress the button again to restart the programme.

They are rather delicate fabrics and should not be washed at a high temperature. Turn the programme selector dial to the 40 programme in SYNTHETIC sector. The Start/Pause light starts to flash. The pilot lights corresponding to the various phases making up the programme come on. 1.

At the end of the programme Before starting up the machine check that: ● the appliance is plugged in ● the water supply tap is turned on ● the drain hose is correctly and securely positioned ● the door and the detergent dispenser drawer are closed. To start the selected programme, press the Start/Pause button; the corresponding light stops flashing. The Washing pilot light illuminates. The machine starts operating.

To ensure you obtain the best wash results from your appliance, it is important to use the right detergent in your everyday wash, and only detergents recommended for use in automatic machines. To maintain the appearance of your clothes and household textiles and to make them last longer you should use different types of detergent for different washes, whether for whites, colours or delicates.

Descaling The water we use normally contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine. Do this separately from any laundry washing, and according to the softening powder manufacturer's instructions. This will help to prevent the formation of lime deposits.

Always keep a cloth nearby to dry up spillage of water when removing the cover. P1090 P1115 The dangers of freezing • Remove any objects from the pump impeller by rotating it. If the machine is exposed to temperatures below 0°C, certain precautions should be taken. ● Turn off the water tap.

During machine operation it is possible that the “End” light flashes to indicate that the machine is not working.

P1051 Any necessary adjustment can be made with a spanner. Accurate levelling prevents vibration, noise and displacement of the machine during operation. Some vibration is inevitable, especially if mounted on a wooden floor. Sprung wooden floors are particularly susceptible to vibration. For advice, consult a builder.
