INSTALLATION 1. DOOR REVERSAL If your appliance is already in use DISCONNECT from the electricity supply. Remove shelves and other loose items including food, then store food in a cool place. Open the upper door. While firmly holding the door with one hand, remove the screw (1) (fig. 3) which secures the hinge plate (2) and slide the bottom of the door to the right; be ready to catch the hinge plate released. Carefully disengage the door from the upper hinge pin (4) {fig. 4).
Side adjustment to the upper door can be made by loosening the screw (1) (see fig. 3) and moving the bottom of the door sideways a little (with the hinge plate) to the left or to the right. Be sure to support the door firmly while doing this and re tighten the screw before testing. Remember finally to carefully level the fridge/freezer by means of the level adjusters (8) in the feet.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE DOOR Before carrying out the following Instruction you must ensure that the appliance is DISCONNECTED from the electricity supply. Occasionally door adjustment may be necessary i.e. if a slight clearance is noticeable between the door gasket and cabinet. This condition is mainly due to uneven floors or the loading of the door. It is possible to adjust the doors at the hinge points (Fig. 7) as follows: Fig. 7 1.

WHAT TO DO IF THE COOL CHECK TEMPERATURE GUIDE SHOWS TOO WARM The temperature guide may show TOO WARM if: 1. The fridge is switched off. ACTION: Start the appliance in accordance with the instructions. » The fridge door has recently been opened or is left open for more than approximately one minute. ACTION: As mentioned before the temperature guide is sensitive to changes in fridge temperature and opening the fridge door may cause the guide to show TOO WARM.
If your fridge/freezer is positioned near to a wall thereby allowing the door tc open through only 90° then each shelf when tilted, can be removed as follows, see Fig, 11. Fig. 11 The shelf layout in the cabinet, with gaps in between each shelf, is designed to allow maximum air circulation, therefore when placing food on the shelves, make sure this gap is maintained.
DRINKS DISPENSER IMPORTANT Before using your drinks dispenser, wash it in a solution of bicarbonate of soda in warm water {(5ml to 0.5 liter of water). Whilst washing the dispenser, operate the dispenser tap a few times to condition the internal seals. Then rinse the dispenser in fresh water again operating the dispenser tap several times, empty then dry thoroughly. The drinks dispenser will be fitted into your door, and can be used for storing drinks.
Any opened packets of frozen food, should be re wrapped in airtight materials to prevent surface evaporation which causes drying or ‘freezer burn’.
