INSTALLATION 1. This appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatures between 10°C (50°F) and 32°C It should be located in a dry atmosphere, out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperature e.g. not next to a cooker or other sources of direct heat, iron a very cold room e.g. an outhouse, where the temperatures may fall below 10°C if these ambient temperatures are exceeded the food storage times given on page 14, will not be maintained. 2.
DOOR REVERSAL If your appliance is already in use DISCONNECT from the electricity supply. Remove shelves and other loose items including food, then store food in a cool place. Gently lay the appliance on its back with the top held away from the floor by at least 30cm (12", use a stool or something similar. Make sure to use a towel or cloth at the base to protect the sides of the appliance ensuring that it does not slip. Do not support the appliance on the rear ventilation grill, see Fig.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE DOOR Before carrying out the following Instruction you must ensure that the appliance is DISCONNECTED from the electricity supply. USING YOUR MACHINE BEFORE USING: Remove all securing tapes. Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5ml to 0.5 liter of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smile might linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly. This model has a cool check temperature guide fitted to a shelf in the fridge compartment. The guide is designed to show whether the fridge is operating at the safe storage temperature for all food types.

ACTION: As mentioned before the temperature guide is sensitive to changes in fridge temperature and opening the fridge door may cause the guide to show TOO WARM.
If your fridge/freezer is positioned near to a wall thereby allowing the door to open through only 80° then each shelf when tilted, can be removed as follows, see Fig, 11. DRINKS DISPENSER IMPORTANT Before using your drinks dispenser, wash it in a solution of bicarbonate of soda in warm water (5ml to 0.5 liter of water). Whilst washing the dispenser, operate the dispenser tap a few times to condition the internal seals. Then rinse the dispenser in fresh water again operating the dispenser tap several times, empty then dry thoroughly. The drinks dispenser will be fitted into your door, and can be used for storing drinks.
IMPORTANT If the temperature rises in frozen food because of: a) Non compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations. b} Electric power failure. ¢) Due to defrosting. Then recommended storage life may be reduced and storage times may not apply. Frozen food which is allowed to thaw accidentally should either be used immediately or thrown away.
