• Do not operate the appliance by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. • Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire. • Never try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket. • Do not store items on the cooking surfaces. • Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.

Caution! To open the oven door, always hold the handle in the centre. Initial Cleaning • Remove all parts from the appliance. • Clean the appliance before first use. Caution! Do not use abrasive cleaning agents! This can damage the surface. Refer to chapter "Care and Cleaning". Push the Selection button. The timer active symbol comes on. To set the current time use the "+" or "-" button. After approximately 5 seconds, the flashing stops and the display shows the time of day set.
Warning! Risk of burns from residual heat! Hob - Helpful hints and tips Cookware • The bottom of the cookware must be as thick and flat as possible. • Cookware made of enamelled steel and with aluminium or copper bottoms can cause discoloration on glass ceramic surface. Energy saving • Put cookware on a cooking zone before you start it. • Stop the cooking zones before the end of the cooking time to use residual heat. • The bottom of pans and cooking zones must have the same dimension.
To remove the dirt: 1. – Remove immediately:melted plastic, plastic foil, and food with sugar. If not, the dirt can cause damage to the appliance. Use a special scraper for the glass . Inserting the baking tray Put the tray in the centre of the oven cavity, between the front and rear wall. This ensures that the heat can circulate in front of and behind the baking tray. Make sure that the tray is positioned like in the picture, with the angled slope in the rear. Warning! Do not push the baking tray all the way to the rear wall of the oven cavity. This prevents the heat from circulating around the tray. The food may be burnt, especially in the rear part of the tray.

Allgemeine Sicherheit • Das Gerät und die zugänglichen Geräteteile werden während des Betriebs heiß. Um dieses Ablagefach zu nutzen, heben Sie die untere Fronttür an und ziehen Sie sie dann nach unten.
Die Uhrzeit kann nur eingestellt werden, wenn keine Uhrfunktion (Dauer oder Ende) eingestellt ist. Aufheizen 1. Stellen Sie die Funktion und die Höchsttemperatur ein. 2. Heizen Sie den leeren Backofen 45 Minuten lang auf. 3. Stellen Sie die Funktion und die Höchsttemperatur ein. 4. Heizen Sie den leeren Backofen 15 Minuten lang auf. Dabei verbrennen alle eventuellen Rückstände an den Oberflächen des Backofeninnenraumes. Das Zubehör kann heißer werden als beim normalen Gebrauch.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Backblech wie in der Abbildung gezeigt, mit dem abgeschrägtem Rand nach hinten eingesetzt ist. Warnung! Schieben Sie das Backblech nicht komplett an die Rückwand des Garraums. Dies würde verhindern, dass die Wärme um das Backblech zirkuliert.

Vorsicht! Verwenden Sie für sehr feuchte Kuchen ein tiefes Backblech. Obstsäfte können bleibende Flecken auf der Emailoberfläche verursachen. • Das Gerät hat vier Einschubebenen. Die Einsatzpositionen werden vom Boden des Backofens aus gezählt. • Es kann sich Feuchtigkeit im Gerät oder an den Glastüren niederschlagen. Das ist normal.
