9 SERVICE
A single procedure is used to access the diagnostic mode, also known as the Service mode. Once
this mode is accessed, the serviceman can:
• read / cancel alarms
• check the various components in the appliance for proper operation
• start a diagnostic cycle
• adjust the brightness and contrast of the LCD
In certain cases, when the user is not satisfied with washing performance, the serviceman can use a
special procedure to select two supplementary options that improve performance:
• Extra rinse (cold)
• Disabling of pulse washing (PW), enabling of continuous washing (Ctrl)
9.1 Accessing the diagnostic mode
1. Open the door, press simultaneously and keep down buttons Option and OK-Start
2. Turn on the appliance using button S0
The LCD turns on with the welcome message
3. The first message in the diagnostic mode appears
4. Press “Options” button repeatedly to scroll through the diagnostic mode:
