Use to select an analog or digital signal.
12 MIDNIGHT button (page 32)
Use Midnight when listening to movie
soundtracks at low volume.
13 SPEAKERS button
Use to cycle through the speaker
system: A = B = A+B
14 MONITOR button
Press to switch tape monitoring on/off.
15 TONE buttons
Press this button to access the bass and
treble controls, which you can then
adjust with the
MULTI JOG dial.

18 FL DIMMER button
Use this button to make the fluorescent
display (FL) dimmer or brighter.
19 INPUT ATT button
Use to attenuate (lower) the level of an
analog input signal to prevent distortion.

Press to receive a radio broadcast in
mono.
21 BAND button (page 40)
Switches between AM and FM radio
bands.
22 CLASS button (pages 4142)
Switches between the three banks
(classes) of station presets.
23 TUNER EDIT button (pages 4142)
Press to memorize and name a station for
recall using the
P-SET }/] buttons on
the remote.

Lights to indicate the type of input signal
assigned for the current component:
AUTO
Lights when AUTO signal select is on.
DIGITAL
Lights when a digital audio signal is
detected.
2 DIGITAL
Lights when a Dolby Digital signal is
detected.
ANALOG
Lights when an analog signal is detected.

Lights when a DTS signal is detected.
