Safety Information Remote Button Functions Please take these safety precautions into consideration under the following conditions : Button When servicing your automobile (i.e. changing the oil, washing your car), the Young Shin Electronics, Inc system should be in Valet Mode. There is a safety shutdown switch under the hood that deactivates the remote starter function if the hood is open.

Step1: Activate Valet/ Programming mode by manually turning the ignition on and off five times with the key within a 7 second period. The parking lights will flash once with successful completion of this step. Step2 : Within a 7 second period after cycling the ignition for the 5th time, Press the button for a 1/2 sec. The parking lights will flash once to confirm that the transmitter has been programmed. You can continue programming additional remotes.

While your vehicle is running with your key, press the button for 2 seconds, you are now in the continuation mode. Your engine will continue running for the preset time even if you take your key out of the ignition. You can now lock/arm the vehicle if you wish to. For a quick stop when you don’t want to restart the vehicle. When the vehicle shuts off after reservation mode, the Young Shin Electronics, Inc system will lock/arm the vehicle. Take care to not lock your keys inside.

If the Anti-Jacking option has been programmed (ask your dealer if you would like to have this option) and the Ignition-Kill has been installed , the Panic Mode works as Anti-Jacking if the key is in the ignition. If Anti-Jacking mode is activated while key is in the ignition, a) the siren will go off for 1.5 minutes, and b) the Ignition-Kill will be activated after the first 30 seconds. This is to give a 30 second warning to the hijacker, then to disconnect the ignition to stop the vehicle.

In this mode, if the emergency brake has been engaged, the engine will continue to run after the key has been taken out of the ignition. It will run until two minutes after the emergency brake has been set. To utilize this mode, the emergency brake sensing wire has to be connected to the emergency brake wire of the vehicle. Consult the authorized dealer for this mode. This option is ideal for turbo charged vehicles because it allows the turbo to cool down after operation.
