Introduction 1: Connection YID-W10 is a wireless system designed for iPod/ iPhone series. YID-W10 employs the Yamaha “yAired” technology to establish a wireless connection with another Yamaha dock-compatible component (hereinafter referred to as “Yamaha component”) that supports “yAired” and enables playback of the iPod/iPhone audio on your Yamaha component. For video, enjoy it on your iPod/iPhone display.
3: Playback 1 Connect your iPod/iPhone to the transmitter. The green LED on the transmitter (YIT-W11TX) and blue LED on the receiver (YIR-W10) light up if a wireless connection between the transmitter and receiver is established. 2 Start playback on your iPod/iPhone. Operation and function depend on your iPod/ iPhone model and Yamaha component. Refer to the owner’s manuals supplied with your iPod/ iPhone and Yamaha component.
4: Battery charge To charge your iPod/iPhone, connect it to the transmitter, and then station the transmitter with your iPod/iPhone onto the receiver. Transmitter LED Green: flashes Problem Cause Remedy There is a device (microwave oven, cordless phone, Wi-Fi, etc.) outputting signals in 2.4 GHz frequency band nearby. Move YID-W10 away from the device. The signal from the transmitter is blocked by your body, metallic objects, or wall, etc. Change the position of the transmitter to avoid the object blocking the signal. The position of the transmitter is too far from the receiver. Move the transmitter closer to the receiver. No sound.
Transmitter LED Green: lights up Problem No sound Cause Remedy The volume is set to the minimum. Set the volume properly. Your Yamaha component is turned off. Turn on your Yamaha component. The input source of your Yamaha component is not set properly. Set the input source properly. Earphones or other device are connected to your iPod/ iPhone. Disconnect earphones or other device. The volume of iPod/iPhone does not change when you operate the volume of your Yamaha component.

Introduction 1: Raccordement Le YID-W10 est un système sans fil pour les appareils des gammes iPod/iPhone. Grâce à la technologie Yamaha “yAired”, le système YID-W10 établit une connexion sans fil avec un autre dispositif Yamaha (que nous appellerons “dispositif Yamaha” dans ce manuel) compatible avec la station d’accueil et la technologie “yAired”, et vous permet de lire les fichiers audio de votre iPod/iPhone sur le dispositif Yamaha en question.
3: Lecture 1 Branchez votre iPod/iPhone à l’émetteur. La diode verte de l’émetteur (YIT-W11TX) et la diode bleue du récepteur (YIR-W10) s’allument quand une connexion sans fil est établie entre l’émetteur et le récepteur. 4: Charge de la batterie Pour charger votre iPod/iPhone, branchez-le à l’émetteur puis placez l’ensemble émetteuriPod/iPhone sur le récepteur. Remarques • Placez sur la station d’accueil l’émetteur avec l’iPod/iPhone connecté au récepteur. • Ne poussez pas avec une force excessive sur le commutateur de détection de l’émetteur.
Diode de l’émetteur Verte: clignote Problème Le son comporte des coupures. Le signal de l’émetteur est bloqué par votre corps, des objets métalliques, des murs, etc. Changez la position de l’émetteur de sorte qu’aucun obstacle ne bloque le signal. L’émetteur est trop éloigné du récepteur. Rapprochez l’émetteur du récepteur. Absence de son. Erreur de communication entre votre iPod/iPhone et l’émetteur. Branchez à nouveau votre iPod/iPhone à l’émetteur fermement mais sans forcer.
Diode de l’émetteur Verte: s’allume Problème Absence de son. Cause Solution Le volume est réglé sur le minimum. Augmentez le volume. Votre dispositif Yamaha est hors tension. Mettez votre dispositif Yamaha sous tension. Le réglage de source d’entrée sur votre dispositif Yamaha est incorrect. Choisissez la source d’entrée correcte. Vous avez branché des écouteurs ou un autre dispositif à votre iPod/ iPhone. Débranchez les écouteurs ou l’autre dispositif.
