Steinberg DAW software. Simply by installing

MOTIF XF

Extension and connecting the

MOTIF XF6/7/8 to your computer, you can

take advantage of various features which enable you to link Cubase (the Steinberg DAW) with the MOTIF XF6/7/8.

Minimum System Requirements These are basically the same as those of the Cubase series (Cubase 5/Cubase Studio 5/Cubase Essential 5/Cubase AI 5) Version 5.1.1 or later as a host application. Regarding Mac OS, only Mac OS 10.5 or later is supported. For Windows Users Preparing to install Before installing, you will need to properly install the driver software to use MOTIF XF Extension.

Windows Vista / 7 1 Select [Start]  ([Settings] ) [Control Panel]  [Programs and Features] to call up the “Uninstall or change a program” window. 2 Select “Yamaha MOTIF XF Extension 32bit version” / “Yamaha MOTIF XF Extension 64bit version” from the list. 3 Click [Uninstall]/[Uninstall/Change]. If the “User Account Control” window appears, click [Continue]. 4 Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the software.
