Supplied accessories Make sure you have received all of the following accessories: Use when mounting the sound bar on a wall. Sound bar (SR-C20A) Spacers (A: ×2, B: ×2 on 1 sheet) Remote control Digital optical audio cable Mounting template NOTE An HDMI cable is not included with this sound bar. Please consider length when purchasing this cable separately.
Preparing the remote control Remove the battery insulating strip before attempting to use the remote control. Installing the sound bar Installed on a TV stand Controls Battery insulating strip Wall-mounted NOTE A Lithium battery (CR2025) has already been inserted into the remote control. Operating range of the remote control Use the remote control within the range shown in the following illustration: Controls Within 6 m (20 ft) Remote control sensor Refer to the User Guide.
Connecting a TV Depending on the type of TV, connect the TV to the sound bar as follows: Is your TV equipped with an HDMI jack labeled as “ARC?” Yes No Connect the TV using an ARC-compatible HDMI cable (sold separately). OPTICAL Connect the TV using an HDMI cable (sold separately) and digital optical audio cable (supplied). Be sure to use both cables to connect the TV.
Connecting the TV using only the digital optical audio cable (supplied) When the HDMI Control function is not used or the TV is not equipped with an HDMI input jack, connect the TV as follows: OPTICAL Audio output (Digital optical audio) TV O O NOTE • When the sound bar is connected to a TV via HDMI cable, confirm that the TV’s settings are properly configured as follows: – The TV's HDMI Control function is enabled. – The TV’s audio output is set to ARC. (When an ARC-compatible TV is used.
Connecting to power Playing TV sound through the sound bar After all connections are complete, connect the sound bar to power as follows: z Sound bar (rear) TV VOLUME (+/−) 1 AC adaptor (supplied) When the TV is connected to the sound bar using an HDMI cable and the HDMI Control function of the TV is enabled, the sound bar will also turn on. Adjusting the sound to your preference b c a a Listening modes based on video or audio content (Sound mode) The following sound modes allow you to further enhance audio performance. Select the sound mode according to your content and individual preference: STANDARD This sound mode is the best suited for general content, such as sports, sitcoms, and reality shows. Surround playback is performed. MOVIE This sound mode is the best suited for movies. Surround playback is performed.
Listening to audio from a Bluetooth® device Audio content from a Bluetooth device (such as a smartphone) can be played through the sound bar. Bluetooth device 1 2 3 Press BLUETOOTH to switch the input source to Bluetooth. On the Bluetooth device, enable the Bluetooth function. Select your product displayed within the list. “Yamaha SR-C20A” or “YamahaAV” is displayed within the list. 4 Play audio content on the Bluetooth device. The sound bar will begin playing audio from the Bluetooth device.

Préparation de la télécommande Retirez la languette isolante de la pile avant d’essayer d’utiliser la télécommande. Raccordement d’un téléviseur Selon le type de téléviseur, raccordez le téléviseur à la barre de son comme suit : Votre téléviseur est-il équipé d’une prise HDMI étiquetée « ARC » ? Oui Non Raccordez le téléviseur à l’aide d’un câble HDMI compatible ARC (vendu séparément). OPTICAL Raccordez le téléviseur à l’aide d’un câble HDMI (vendu séparément) et d’un câble audio optique numérique (fourni). Veillez à utiliser les deux câbles pour raccorder le téléviseur.
NOTE • Lorsque la barre de son est raccordée à un téléviseur via un câble HDMI, vérifiez que les réglages du téléviseur sont configurés correctement comme suit : – La fonction de contrôle HDMI du téléviseur HDMI est activée. – La sortie audio du téléviseur est réglée sur ARC. (Lorsqu’un téléviseur compatible ARC TV est utilisé.
Raccordement à l’alimentation Lecture du son du téléviseur via la barre de son Une fois toutes les connexions terminées, raccordez la barre de son à l’alimentation comme suit : Barre de son (arrière) z TV VOLUME (+/−) Adaptateur secteur (fourni) Cordon d’alimentation (fourni) Vers une prise secteur 1 Allumez le téléviseur. Lorsque le téléviseur est raccordé à la barre de son à l’aide d’un câble HDMI et que la fonction de contrôle HDMI est activée, la barre de son s’allume également.
Réglage du son selon vos préférences b c a a Modes d’écoute basés sur le contenu vidéo ou audio (mode sonore) Les modes sonores suivants vous permettent d’améliorer encore davantage les performances audio. Sélectionnez le mode sonore en fonction de votre contenu et de vos préférences personnelles : STANDARD Ce mode sonore est le mieux adapté aux contenus généraux, comme le sport, les sitcoms et la téléréalité. Le son est lu en surround. MOVIE Ce mode sonore est idéal pour les films.
Écoute de l’audio depuis un dispositif Bluetooth® Le contenu audio d’un dispositif Bluetooth (comme un smartphone) peut être lu via la barre de son. Dispositif Bluetooth 1 2 3 Appuyez sur Bluetooth pour basculer la source d’entrée sur Bluetooth. Sur le dispositif Bluetooth, activez la fonction Bluetooth. Sélectionnez votre produit affiché dans la liste. « Yamaha SR-C20A » ou « YamahaAV » est affiché dans la liste. 4 Lisez le contenu audio sur le dispositif Bluetooth.
