The firmware update adds or expands the following functions.

1. Adds the Enhanced CINEMA DSP sound field program

What is the Enhanced CINEMA DSP sound field program?

This program creates a sound field that emphasizes the dynamic sound transition

of 3D object audio. Its design is based on the concept of a movie theater with multi-

top speakers, in which the audience is overwhelmed by the natural and powerful

sound effects.

To select this sound program, press MOVIE on the remote control until “Enhanced”

is selected. This sound program can also be selected from the “DSP Program”

menu after pressing ON SCREEN.

2. Expands the manual adjustment range for the parametric

equalizer

By extending the minimum setting for the center frequency from the conventional

31.3 Hz to the new 15.6 Hz, it is possible to finely adjust the low-range sound

outputted by the subwoofer.
