1 Preface Thank you for choosing this mobile phone. This device will offer you an unprecedented surprise for it can support dual SIM but single standby. Meanwhile, this phone is equipped with a 3 megapixel HD digital camera, a MP3 Mobile Music and a MP4 video player. Enjoy yourself! 3.1.3 Dial an Emergency Call This phone operates using radio signals, wireless and landline networks, but cannot guarantee connection in all locations at all conditions. It is not advisable to rely solely on wireless phones to make emergency calls. To make an emergency call: Switch your phone on. 4 Main Menu The Main Menu displays all the applications your phone has. You may access the Main menu by tapping on the Menu icon [ ] from the Home Screen. 4.1 Browser To surf the Internet on your phone, go to Æ Browser. 4.3 Calendar The Calendar application shows the current date/month, and lets you organize your schedule by allowing you to add, edit, delete and view events. 4.7 File Manager The File Manager lets you view, open and manage the data saved in your phone and Memory card. 4.9 Gallery To view captured images, recorded video clips, and downloaded images, Go to Æ . Click on a thumbnail to launch an album. Tap and hold an image to share (via MMS, Bluetooth, Google+, Email, Gmail or Facebook), delete or view details. You can also tap Tap to share photo. to edit photo. Tap Menu Key to display other options. 4.10 Gmail Gmail is Google's web-based email service that allows you to compose, send and receive messages on your phone.
4.12 Music Use the Music to play music and audio files. Go to Æ . The songs are categorized into tabs: Artists, Albums and Songs. Google+, Email and Gmail. 5 Settings 5.1 Wireless & Networks: 5.1.1 SIM Management Your device supports two SIM cards, which can be managed by accessing the SIM Management sub-menu.
5.1.3 Bluetooth Switch the Bluetooth function ON so you may establish wireless connection with other compatible devices with the Bluetooth technology. The Bluetooth may be used to send and receive different kinds of files. With the Bluetooth technology you may establish wireless connection with a compatible PC to enhance communication. Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication technology.
5.1.5 Airplane Mode It is also known as the “Flight Mode,” which is advisable when riding aircrafts. This function, when turned ON, disables all wireless connection to any network. However, with the airplane mode, you can make use other functions of your device such as playing music, watching videos and capturing images and videos. 5.1.6 VPN This allows you to set up and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
5.1.8 Disable the Wi-Fi Hotspot Tap Æ Æ More Æ Tethering & portable hotspot Æ un-tick the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot check box. 5.1.9 Mobile Networks The Mobile Networks Settings lets you control the settings of your subscriptions, and data settings as well. It also lets you enable or disable access over mobile networks and connect or disconnect to data services when roaming. 5.1.10 USB Internet This lets you share PC internet to your phone via USB cable.
5.2.1 Audio Profiles This menu lets you customize your phone’s settings to suit your activities, lifestyle and environment. The mobile phone is equipped with multiple user profiles that you can customize tones for incoming calls, messages. The Cherry Mobile CRUIZE 2 is equipped with four (4) pre-set profile options: General, Silent, Vibration and Outdoor. Tap a profile to change its settings. To access these, go to Æ Æ Profiles.
5.3 Personal category: 5.3.1 Location Access The device uses the Global Positioning System satellite and allows apps that have asked your permission to use your location information. Furthermore, through the Wi-fi & mobile network location, it lets apps use Google’s location service to estimate your location faster. Anonymous location data will be collected and sent to Google. It can also use your location to speed up process when searching for places using GPS and improving Google search results.
5.3.4 Security This allows you to protect your device from unauthorized users by setting the PIN code or entering a password before being able to access the phone. 5.3.5 Screen Lock Please refer to “Locking/Unlock your Phone” on page 3. 5.4 More 5.4.1 Accessibility You can use the Accessibility settings to configure any plug-ins you have installed on your device. To access this, go to Æ Æ Accessibility.
