This pin floats during receive mode and goes to ground when a transmit condition occurs. Audio on this pin along with MIC HI is the voice audio used to modulate the RT-5000. 12 - SPARE Spare output pin.

Connect this pin in all installations even though an external encryption box is not used. Use shielded wire. 19 - GROUND General purpose ground.
