INTRODUCTION Congratulations on your purchase of the CHEROKEE™ GR-823 General Mobile Radii Service (GARS) Portable Radio with repeater channels. Your CHEROKEE ™ radio is designed to provide trouble-free service and advanced \riser features lo make it the premier choice in radio communications.
[TO TRANSMIT J Press and Hold the "PTT" bunion to transmit. With 2 Watts output power, the GR-823 could communicate direct with a similar anti for a range miles depending on location. The communication range would increase up to 2% miles when operated through a repeater system with proper antennas. A. The radio will slop on any busy channel. it will remain on that busy channel until the preset Scan Delay Timer expires, it will revert to scanning after then.
