RANGE SAFETY WARNING Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed. Install anti-tip bracket to floor or wall per installation instructions. Slide range back so rear range foot is engaged in the slot of the anti-tip bracket. Re-engage anti-tip bracket if range is moved. Do not operate range without anti-tip bracket installed and engaged. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or serious burns to children and adults.

Electrical Requirements Electrical Requirements - U.S.A. Only If codes permit and a separate ground wire is used, it is recommended that a qualified electrical installer determine that the ground path and wire gauge are in accordance with local codes. Do not use an extension cord. Be sure that the electrical connection and wire size are adequate and in conformance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/ NFPA 70-latest edition and all local codes and ordinances.

Install Anti-Tip Bracket WARNING 3. It is necessary to determine the final location of the range before you can locate the anti-tip bracket. If the range is going to be located between cabinets, place the bracket so that Edge A sits flat against the rear wall. Edge B should just touch the side of the cabinet sitting to the right side of the range. Loosen (do not remove) the setscrew on the front of the terminal lug and insert exposed wire end through bottom of terminal lugs. Use 3/8" nut driver to connect the bare (green) ground wire to the center terminal block post with one of the 10–32 hex nuts. 3-wire connection: Direct Wire Use this method only if local codes permit connecting ground conductor to neutral supply wire. 1. Pull the wires through the conduit on cord/conduit plate on bottom of range. Allow enough slack to easily attach the wiring to the terminal block.

4. Slide the range forward, and verify that the anti-tip bracket is securely attached to the floor or wall. 5. Slide range back so the rear range foot is inserted into the slot of the anti-tip bracket. IMPORTANT: If the back of the range is more than 2" (5.1 cm) from the mounting wall, the rear range foot may not engage the bracket. Slide the range forward and determine if there is an obstruction between the range and the mounting wall.

Bride antibasculement AVERTISSEMENT 3. Il est nécessaire de déterminer l’emplacement final de la cuisinière avant de positionner la bride antibasculement. Si la cuisinière est placée entre des armoires, placer la bride pour que le bord A soit adossé correctement au mur du fond. Le bord B devrait toucher le côté de l’armoire situé du côté droit de la cuisinière.

1. Une partie de la barrette métallique de terre doit être coupée et retirée. 4. Connecter les cosses aux conducteurs des lignes 1 (noir), neutre (blanc) et 2 (rouge). Desserrer (ne pas enlever) la vis de réglage sur le devant de la cosse et insérer l’extrémité du conducteur nu jusqu’au fond des cosses. Connexion à 3 conducteurs : Raccordement par câblage direct Utiliser cette méthode uniquement si les codes locaux autorisent la connexion du conducteur de mise à la terre au conducteur du neutre de l’alimentation. 1. Tirer le câblage à travers le conduit sur la plaque de cordon/ conduit en bas de la cuisinière. Laisser suffisamment de jeu pour raccorder facilement le câblage au bornier.

4. Glisser la cuisinière vers l’avant et vérifier que la bride antibasculement est bien fixée au plancher ou au mur. 5. Faire glisser de nouveau la cuisinière de façon à ce que son pied arrière se trouve dans la fente de la bride antibasculement. IMPORTANT : Si l’arrière de la cuisinière se trouve à plus de 2 po (5,1 cm) du mur de montage, cela signifie que le pied arrière de la cuisinière n’est peut-être pas engagé dans la bride.
