Description
Front-load washers may experience belt slippage and / or premature belt wear.
This can be evidenced by belt dust accumulation and spin or basket speed
issues.
Production Correction
Starting in early August with serial numbers beginning at C831, production will
implement an 8-rib belt, replacing the current 6-rib belt. The 8-rib belt will provide
higher performance and reliability from belt wear and slippage. The 8-rib belt is
available as service part number WPW10388418.
