Six horizontal lines appear on the digital display (2): After about 3 seconds, when the appliance is warm (internal temperature above 0°C), only the two lines in the middle remain illuminated. The green ON LED (1) will light up. The red alarm LED (8) will start blinking and the acoustic alarm will sound. Press the reset button (7) to stop the acoustic alarm.

When this function is enabled, even if a button is pressed the corresponding function is not activated. To lock the control panel, press buttons (7) and (3) simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the yellow LED lights up (6).

Classification of frozen foods Put the frozen products into the freezer and classify them. The storage date should be indicated on the packs, to allow use within expiry dates. When you place the food in the freezer, make sure that the food does not obstruct proper lid closure.

Preparation of fresh food for freezing Before freezing, wrap and seal fresh food in: aluminium foil, plastic wrap, cling film, polyethylene containers with lids, provided they are suitable for freezing foods. Food must be fresh, mature and of prime quality in order to obtain high quality frozen food.

Unplug the appliance from the mains. Remove the packs of food from the freezer and wrap them close together in newspaper. Store in a very cool place or thermally insulated bag. Leave the freezer lid open. Remove the internal defrost water drain plug.
