FDT frame application
Frame applications can be used as a tool to congure devices,
plan projects, operate consoles or administer facilities. The
FDT frame application provides a PC software environment
with the following functions:
• User administration
• DTM administration
• Data management
• Network conguration
• Navigation
Weidmüller offers their WI-Manager FDT frame program to
the user for no cost. This certied software is compatible
and works together with all certied DTMs. This screenshot
shows the WI-Manager with an opened DTM for the ACT20X
series.

FDT User Group
The FDT User Group is an alliance of users and
manufacturers interested in dening the specications and
moving the FDT/DTM technology forward. Weidmüller is a
member of this group along with most process automation
manufacturers and work towards advancing this standard
further.
