Weidmüller's product range includes solutions for connecting,
marshalling and converting eld signals in process control
technology. In terms of data communication, we offer a
coordinated range of active and passive Industrial Ethernet
infrastructure components. Adapted to the relevant automation
task, the products cover a number of communication
requirements in the industrial environment, for example in
gigabit networks or wireless applications.
One of the most important features of patch and potential
distributor solutions today must be that as many signals as
possible can be processed clearly in the smallest space
possible. Weidmüller satises this requirement with two
families of modular terminals: the PRV and, specially
developed for the US market, the WMF. Our PRV is currently
the most compact patch and distributor solution in the world,
featuring “PUSH IN” direct connectivity. It is perfectly suited as
a marshalling and coupling level for master cables with many
individual strands of a small cross-section. The highly exible
WMF family of modular terminals with screw connection
system combines all the functions needed in one solution:
it can be used with feed-through, safety or isolating functions
and has an integrated shield connection.
