Cable Glands – Introduction
Ex e, Ex d cable glands
for armoured and un-armoured cable
In addition to our existing assortment of cable glands we
now launch a new Klippon
®
family of glands for armoured
and un-armoured cables for use in Ex e (increased safety)
and Ex d (ameproof) applications. Additionally there are
Klippon
®
stopping plugs and accessories such as locknuts,
IP washers, serrated washers, shrouds and earth tags
available.
The cable glands are certied according to the latest ATEX
and IECEx (EN/IEC 60079-0/1/7) standard and are marked
with the Weidmüller brand. Depending on the type of gland
it is possible to terminate screened, braided, lead sheathed
cables as well as steel wire and steel tape cables from M20
to M75. They have a temperature withstand range from
–60°C to +180°C.
