Dear Sir or Madam,

thank you very much for your interest in the Electronics Housings CH20M by Weidmüller.

Please notice the following information and guideline for sample requests of the CH20M with printing and/or cut-outs.

A) The drawings have to be in step- or in .dxf format.

B) For letters, numbers, etc., information about font (Arial, …), font size and stroke width is mandatory

B1) font size in “mm”, not in “pt”

C) For symbols, etc., the stroke width is mandatory, as well.

C1) Logos/symbols/graphics in black&white and in .dxf format.

C2) Company logos need to be available in .dxf format.

D) Pad printing is just after consultation (Attention no pad printing on the Base)

E) Laser printing can be done everywhere, where the surface is flat and and horizontal.

F) Pay attention in the alignment of the Front (F/FC) to the Base(B). There is an anti-twist protection in the form of

two different wide contours in the Base(B)! see Fig.(4)

In the drawing, the perspective has to be clear, so that the direction of the printing/cut-outs is not ambiguous.

Please provide in the drawing all the different views.

G) The production of the cut-outs in the Front (F/FC) is done by laser and milling:

G1) laser : offset to the edge longitudinally 2,7mm, landwidth ≥ 0,5 mm, corner radius ≥ 0,1mm

G2) milling: offset to the edge longitudinally 2,7mm, landwidth ≥ 1,00 mm, corner radius ≥ 1,00 mm

H) The production of the cut-outs on the side of the base (B) is done by laser and milling:

H1) laser : offset to the edge longitudinally 4,0 mm, landwidth ≥ 0,5 mm, corner radius ≥ 0,1mm

H2) milling: offset to the edge longitudinally 4,0 mm, landwidth ≥ 1,00 mm, corner radius ≥ 1,00 mm

I) The production of the cut-outs in the snap-on foot area of the base (B) will be done on request.

J) For manufacturing tolerances, please refer to the attachment, figure (6). More precise manufacturing tolerances on

request.
