DIRECTIONS
WEATHERWASH’S “OAKED” PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Weatherwash Polyurethane is a non-yellowing, water-based sealer. Weatherwash Polyurethane is
a high quality, pre-catalyzed urethane wood sealer which provides maximum protection for
Weatherwash stained wood. Weatherwash Polyurethane will look beautiful on Weatherwash
stained wood whether applied with a brush or a professional spray gun. This formula is perfect for
the protection of all raw or Weatherwash stained wood.
USE For use on flooring and areas that need supreme protection.
SPECIES For use on any wood species.
WOOD: For raw or Weatherwash stained wood.
DIRECTIONS
WOOD PREP Ensure wood is free of dust, dirt, conditioners and oils. Remove any sanding dust with
tack cloth. Unfinished surfaces should be sanded with 120 grit prior to applying varnish.
PRODUCT PREP PREPARATION Stir well.
COVERAGE 1 Quart treats 100 SQ FT of smooth wood.
APPLICATION Use a synthetic bristle brush or spray gun to apply a thin layer of Weatherwash
Polyurethane with the grain. A thick layer will not cure. Work in sections and maintain a wet edge as
you work. Next, sand with 220 grit sandpaper. For better protection, re-coat in 2 hours as previously
directed. Superior durability achieved in only two-three coats. Apply product in greater than 50°F and
less than 77°F.
DRYING TIME Apply 2-3 coats for superior protection, especially in high traffic or water-exposed areas.
Allow to cure 3 hours before handling, 24 hours before use. Drying times may increase in high
humidity, cold temperatures or poor ventilation. Apply 2nd coat within 4 hours of applying 1st coat or
wait 48 hours.
CLEAN UP Easy soap and water clean up.
