2. Installation

The RSU is a self-installed, plug and play unit, which requires minimum setup operations from the user.

2.1. Before You Start

2) Make sure your computer is equipped with an Ethernet Network Interface (NIC).

3) Make sure your computer network configuration is set up according to your Internet Service Provider instructions (typically to

automatically obtain an IP address - DHCP).

4) Select the appropriate location for the RSU:

• Locate the RSU near an exterior window.

• Locate the RSU in such a way that its antenna will face your service provider Access Unit (AU). Avoid any physical obstacles,

which may block the signal.

January 04 2.2. RSU Setup The RSU installation steps are depicted below: 1) Connect the CAT5 Ethernet cable between the RSU and your PC NIC. Note that your RSU has two Ethernet ports. You may connect your PC to either one of the ports. Optionally you may connect two PCs to the RSU, which will then acts as a switch for those two PCs. 2) Connect the supplied power adapter to the RSU power jack.
