The device is intended for comparative measurement of the moisture level in wood materials. This enables the moisture level

to be checked over a certain period so as to make comparisons. The measurement is carried out with two insertion probes;

which are inserted into the material to be measured. The insertion probes can be replaced in the event of high wear. The device

displays the moisture level of wood materials. It includes a temperature compensation function to take into account the material

temperature when measuring the moisture in the wood. Maximum and minimum values can also be displayed, and the device

has an activatable/deactivatable automatic shut-o function, a white backlight on the LC display as well as a hold function, in

order to freeze a measured value on the display. It also features a low battery indicator and is operated by 3x 1.5 V batteries. For

protection during transport, a protection cap is enclosed.
