USING THE REMOTE APP LAUNCHER Quickly launch the pictured app. INPUT Change the currently-displayed input. A/V CONTROLS Control USB media player. CLOSED CAPTIONS Open the closed caption menu. EXIT Close the on-screen menu. OK Select the highlighted menu option. BACK Go to the previous on-screen menu. VOLUME UP/DOWN Increase or decrease loudness of the audio. MUTE Turn the audio off or on. NUMBER PAD Manually enter a channel. WIDE Switch the display mode. POWER Turn TV on or off.

ALT Press and hold while pressing another key to enter a blue character. For example, press ALT and W to enter a # character. V.I.A.
INSTALLING THE BASE 1 2 B Place the base cover upside down resting on a ledge. Then slide the neck piece downward into place. A A. Slide the base bracket into the edge with the appropriate notch pieces. B. Rest the entire base bracket into the cover.
3 Attach the base bracket by tightening the four (4) included M5 8mm Pan Head Screws into the center holes as shown. 4 Tighten the five (5) included M4 8mm Flat Head Screws into the holes as shown. Holes are marked with arrows.
5 Slide the collar piece downward into place over the neck. 6 Place the TV screen-down on a clean, flat surface. To prevent scratches or damage to the screen, place the TV on a soft surface, such as carpet, rug, or blanket. Insert the neck into the TV and tighten the four (4) included M5 16mm Pan Head Screws.
7 8 Slide the base cover into place. Place the TV on a stable, level surface.

Insert the included batteries. Gently slide the battery cover back into place. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
3 4 Back of TV Coaxial Cable Ethernet Cable If you have an external antenna or a cable connection that extends from a wall outlet, connect it to the TV with an RF/Coaxial cable. If you have a high-speed internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your modem or router to the back of the TV as shown. Turn the TV on by pressing the Power button on the remote. The Setup App is displayed. Use the Arrow buttons on the remote to highlight Home Use and press OK.
5 Use the OK and Arrow Up/Down buttons on the remote to read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for Yahoo! TV Widgets. When you are finished, highlight Next and press OK. 6 Select the name of your wireless network from the list of available networks and press OK. Enter your network key using the on-screen keyboard, then highlight Connect and press OK.
7 8 Enter your First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, ZIP Code, and E-mail Address using the on-screen keyboard. Answer the on-screen questions about your TV connection using the Arrow and OK buttons on the remote. Highlight Next and press OK. When you have finished the channel scan, highlight Exit to Live TV and press OK. The First-Time Setup is complete.

GETTING STARTED WITH VIZIO INTERNET APPS 1 2 Highlighted App V.I.A. Press this button to open the V.I.A. Dock. Be sure your TV is connected to the Internet. Use an Ethernet cable or connect wirelessly. The V.I.A Dock is displayed on the bottom of the screen. For the best V.I.A. experience, a high-speed Internet connection is recommended. Use the Arrow buttons on the remote to highlight an app, then press OK to open it.
3 Your V.I.A Dock has many popular apps pre-loaded, but you can add more at any time. To discover and add new apps to the Dock, open the Connected TV Store app. Highlight Categories and press OK. A list of app categories is displayed. Select a category and browse through the available apps. When you’ve found an app you want to add to the Dock, highlight Add Widget to My Profile and press OK.

HELP TOPICS • How do I return to the Setup App? There is a picture, but there is no sound. The TV displays “No Signal.” There are black/ gray bars on the top/ bottom/sides of the screen. There is no power. • The on-screen menu has guided setup. Press MENU, then select Help > Guided Setup. Select the type of setup you need and press OK. The Setup App will begin. To reset the TV to factory defaults, press MENU > Help > Reset TV Settings. Select Yes.
