Otherwise, follow the procedure below to install your SIM card and battery. The SIM card and its contacts are easily damaged. Be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card. Caution. Keep SIM cards and the back cover release key out of the reach of small children.

If your Vertu phone was purchased at a Vertu store, the time and date should already be set for you. We recommend setting the time and date immediately to ensure that features which use the time and date, for example the agenda, operate correctly.

Because of this, connections in all conditions cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, you should never rely solely upon any wireless phone for essential communications, for example medical emergencies.

When the keypad is locked, a key icon appears below the signal strength indicator.

The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. If you notice that the talk and standby times are much shorter than normal, you may need a new battery.
