1. Ensure the floor surface is smooth, level, dry, and clean. Patch cracks, gapped seams, or
other damage (A).
2. Measure and mark the center of the room as the installation starting point (B).
3. Align the tiles and use a rubber mallet to pound tabs together. Lay the tiles from the center
point of the room in both directions toward the wall to form a cross (C).
4. Fill in each of the four quadrants by connecting full rows or columns to assure the
installation remains squared (D).
5. Cut perimeter tiles to allow a 1/4 - 1/2 inch gap between the tile edge and the wall.

Helpful Tips
Each 18"x18" tile covers 2.25 square feet. To find how many tiles
your project requires, divide the total square footage of your space
by 2.25 and round up.
A grid is imprinted on the back of each tile. Use these straight
lines for uniform measurement and cutting guides as needed.
Tiles are made of a dense recycled rubber. To cut tiles, use
heavy duty snips, a sharp blade, or your preferred cutting tool.
Always use appropriate safety precautions when cutting and
installing tile. Wear protective eyewear and cutting gloves.
Create a pattern using heavy paper or cardboard for irregular
shapes (i.e. door jambs). Trace the pattern onto the tile and cut.
Due to recycled content, slight color variations may occur.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Sweep grass and debris with a broom, or for heavily soiled
areas use a mop and mild detergent. Allow floor to dry
thoroughly before walking on tiles.
In some heavy traffic instances, tiles may shift or tabs may
raise slightly. Simply step on the tab or use a rubber mallet to
pound the tab back into place.
