Foreword More than 70 years ago spring reverb systems were used to bring the natural reverberations of cathedrals into the homes of Hammond organ players. Over the years they got smaller and more reliable and became what we know today as spring tanks. Nowadays reverbs were simulated more accurate and natural with the help of digital technology and software. Despite, or maybe because of this, the typical spring reverb sound with all its rough edges and flaws is highly requested.
