FEATURES The Vanco HDWIRKIT/RX extends HDMI signals wirelessly from a source to a display up to 131ft/40m using wireless technology. There are no cables that are required between the transmitter and receiver which makes for a clean and easy installation, especially where cabling is difficult or impossible to run. Using a 5GHz operation frequency, the HDWIRKIT Transmitter and Receiver do not require line of site transmission, the wireless signal will travel through most obstacles with no issues.

CONNECT AND OPERATE 1. Connect HDMI cable from a source into the HDMI IN port of the TRANSMITTER 2. OPTIONAL: Connect the provided IR BLASTER into the IR OUT port of the TRANSMITTER 3. OPTIONAL: Connect HDMI Cable to the HDMI OUT port to loop-out to a local display such as a control room display 4. Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port of the RECEIVER to a display or sink device 5. OPTIONAL: Connect the provided IR RECEIVER into the IR IN port of the RECEIVER 6.
IR PASS-THROUGH The IR system allows you to control the source that is connected to the extender unit, from the display. There are two important things to note when setting up the IR system: 1. The IR Receiver (IR RX) is always what you point your remote at to send an IR signal. This pigtail is placed at the display for controlling the source. 2. The IR Blaster (IR TX) is what sends the IR signal to what you are intending to control.
IR RECEIVER (RX) IR RECEIVER (RX) • To control the source: Plug IR Receiver into IR IN port of RECEIVER; place receiver at or near display. • Note: Due to possible differences in 3rd party IR cables, please use the IR cables that came with the product.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING 1. If the display has “waiting for connection” on the bottom right hand corner: Check to see if the power supply of the transmitter and receiver are well connected and that the power indicator lights are ON 2. If the display states, “Please check the TX input signal...” First check to see if there input is properly connected and powered on.
LIMITED WARRANTY With the exceptions noted in the next paragraph, Vanco warrants to the original purchaser that the equipment it manufactures or sells will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should this product, in Vanco’s opinion, prove defective within this warranty period, Vanco, at its option, will repair or replace this product without charge. Any defective parts replaced become the property of Vanco.
