SET UP YOUR BTS200 SPEAKER Install the Battery 1. Remove the battery from any protective packaging and discard the packaging accordingly. 2. Align the battery pack with the guides along the inside of the battery area. Be sure the contact slots are in the correct position to close on the contacts. 3. Slide the battery in until you hear the latch click. Charge the Battery 1. Insert the adapter’s DC jack into the DC connection. 2. Plug the adapter into a 120 VAC power supply (standard wall outlet). 3.

Pair Second Bluetooth Device 1. Turn on your speaker, and continue to press and hold until the speaker beeps twice. 2. Release . The BTS200 is ready to pair. 3. Follow the same procedures for pairing your first Bluetooth device (see page 6). Bluetooth BTS200 SPEAKER OPERATION Press and hold for at least 3 seconds to turn on your speaker.
Basic Cell Phone Operations The green LED flashes when your cellphone has an incoming call. Both the speaker and your cellphone may ring, depending on your cellphone settings. To... Do this... Call Waiting You can receive call waiting notification when your cellphone is paired to your speaker. The LED flashes and your speaker sounds an alert tone. Your cellphone must subscribe to Call Waiting service to use these features; contact your telephone provider for more information. To... Do this... Basic Music Operation When you pair a Bluetooth music player to your speaker, you can control operation through your speaker. To... Do this... Press Play music . NOTE: When you stop or pause the music playback, your speaker starts streaming music into a buffer. The music resumes at the same volume level . after you press Skip to the next track Press and at the same time. Skip to the previous track Press and at the same time.
SPECIAL FEATURES Charge Cellphone using a USB Cable If you have the proper fitting USB cable (not included), you can charge your cellphone through your speaker. Be sure you have a USB cable that will fit both USB connections - the one on your speaker and the one on your cellphone. 1. Connect the USB cable to your cellphone and to your speaker. 2. There are no specific charging LEDs on your speaker; however, any charging LEDs on your cellphone may blink accordingly.
The following restrictions apply when you are playing music through a wired connection: •• If both a Bluetooth device and a wired device are connected to your speaker, the Bluetooth device will take priority over the wired device. •• The BTS200 does not control the wired device; it only plays music through a wired connection. It cannot operate or skip . You must use the wired device to do that.
TROUBLESHOOTING If this happens... Try this... Bluetooth device disconnects Press Bluetooth device disconnects due to Out of Range After moving back into connection range, press key for reconnection. Sound is not clear or there is no sound at all Check BTS200 or your Bluetooth device volume level. Music won’t play on the BTS200 –– Make sure your Bluetooth device has A2DP. –– Check if both devices are connected. –– Turn your BTS200 off and then back on to autoconnect with your Bluetooth device.
If this happens... Try this... Sound is too small / too much distortion Adjust the volume level of BTS200 or Bluetooth device. Phone call not answer by BTS200 –– Make sure your cellphone has HFP. –– Check if both devices are connected. –– Restart BTS200 for auto-connecting with your Bluetooth device.
