Troubleshooting Guide
1. What can I do if the USB hub doesn’t work at all?
(1) Check if the USB hub is detected in Device Manager.
(2) If it is not detected, test this USB hub with another USB port or computer.
(3) If it is detected, but some ports don't work, please test a USB device that you confirm it works
well with the port one by one.
2. How can I troubleshoot it if the USB devices connected to the hub keeps disconnecting?
(1) Re-plug the devices to ensure every part is connected properly.
(2) Offer extra power supply.
(3) Only connect one USB device to the hub to see if it is the power issue.
(4) Do not connect any wireless device with the hub.
3. What can I try if there is always a lagging issue for my wireless mouse or keyboard when
they’re connected to the hub?
The reason for the lagging issue might be as follows.
(1) The broadband noise from USB 3.0 data spectrum is in the 2.4-2.5GHz range. If the antenna
of a wireless device operating in this band such as 2.4GHz is placed close to any of the USB 3.0
radiation channels, it will pick up the broadband noise. Thus it will affect the SNR (signal-to-noise
ratio) and limit the sensitivity of any wireless receiver.
(2) All electronic products will have some radiation. The radiation is diverging in the form of
electromagnetic waves. When the electromagnetic frequency of this radiation is just about the
same as the operating frequency range of wireless devices--2.4Ghz, it will interfere with wireless
devices.
In this case, please test this hub with a wired USB device to check whether it is a signal loose or
the interference issue.
