Installation 1. Perform a site survey and select the locations for each sensor device. 2. Align and mount a sensor at each location based on how it will function. Motion Mount the sensor in an area to detection movement.
Security Mount the sensor on a door or window, along with a facing magnet, to detect the break or separation of the magnetic field when that door or window opens.
Alarm Sounds Mount the sensor near a smoke or gas alarm to detect audible tones. Water Leaks Mount the sensor in an area to detect if the level of water (or liquid) rises above a certain level.
Setting Up the UFP-SENSE Download and install the UniFi Protect app to set up and configure the UFP-SENSE. Launch the UniFi Protect app and follow the on-screen instructions for setup and configuration. 1. Click Add Elements.
