Operation of the 20TN-1 Radio Key
Vehicle Lock and Security System Arm
Standing near the vehicle, depress for approximately one second the button marked
with a closed padlock symbol.
Vehicle Unlock and Security System Disarm
Standing near the vehicle, depress for approximately one second the button marked
with an open padlock symbol.
Trunk Unlock
Standing near the vehicle, depress for approximately one second the button marked
with a symbol representing a car with an open trunk.
Panic Alarm
Standing near the vehicle, depress and hold any button. After a short delay, the car
alarm will sound and continue to sound, even when the depressed button is released.
Depressing one of the buttons again for one second will stop the alarm.
Battery Changing
1. Remove the 20TN-1 back cover by inserting a suitable tool into the hole on the
side of the unit and gently levering the cover out.
2. Remove the 20TN-1 battery, by pulling back the white plastic battery
retaining clip and using a suitable non-conducting tool inserted in the recess
provided to prise out the battery.
3. Fit a new battery by inserting it, positive (+) side uppermost, under the metal
clips in the battery compartment and pressing on the opposite edge of the
battery to push it under the white retaining clip.
4. Refit the 20TN-1 cover by engaging the two key cover lugs into the key head
and pressing the cover on the opposite edge until cover latch engages.
5. When a battery is replaced, the 20TN-1 fob loses synchronisation with the
vehicle. To re-synchronise the key, stand near the vehicle and press either the
lock or unlock button (but not both) four times over a period of two seconds.
