In-Home Cellular Signal Enhancer
Model # BDA1900-2
FCC ID # OEUBDA1900-2
You will find two housings and an AC power transformer in your In-Hone Cellular Signal
Enhancer package. To achieve the best possible performance within your home, follow the
instructions outlined below:
The In-Home Cellular Signal Enhancer will work best within a room that has the best signal
strength coming from a cell tower. Have your cell phone on and with you as you test the different
areas of the house where you would like to use the enhancer. If your cell phone is not receiving
any signal within a room, the In-Home Cellular Signal Enhancer will not be able to create a signal.
The In-Home Cellular Signal Enhancer is only able to improve a signal that is already present.
Position the window unit (housing with suction cups and coaxial cable) toward the top of the
glass on a window in a room where you would like to improve an existing signal. The unit should
be a minimum of 2 inches below the window frame to simplify removal of the unit from the
suction cups. The window unit should be positioned so that the coaxial cable is coming out the
bottom of the unit.
Connect the window unit to the room unit (larger housing with LED indicator) using the coaxial
cable. Position the room unit on the floor, desk, or shelf (see picture below). Positioning of the
two antennas is very important. The system works best with at least six feet vertical separation
between the housings. If that is not possible, try to have at least 3 feet of vertical separation and
maximize horizontal separation, pointing the room unit away from the window unit. Connect the
room unit to the power supply, and plug the supply into your standard home outlet. The LED
should be green indicating the system is installed correctly. If the LED is either yellow or red, first
confirm that the distance between the two units is correct. If the distances are correct, make sure
there are no physical obstructions, namely metal objects, that could cause interference near the
Two units. To achieve optimum performance, the LED must be green. However, the system will
operate at a reduced performance level if the LED is yellow. If the LED is yellow or red, try
repositioning the units.
IMPORTANT
All antennas need to be installed at least 20 cm (or approximately 8 inches) away
from all persons during normal operation to comply with the FCC’s radiofrequency
radiation exposure requirement.
If during the optimization of the unit locations, the LED appears to be reacting slowly, reset the
unit by unplugging the power supply from the outlet and plugging it back in.
