Wedge Indicators
What’s in the Box
Geng Started
To turn on the Wedge...

1. Open the box and remove the tray containing the
Alerta Patch and Wedge
2. Remove one Patch from the container, return
container to the tray
3. Remove the Wedge and place it near the Patch
1. Press the Wedge RESET buon from the top. The
OUT OF RANGE indicator will flash.
To turn on the Patch...
2. Locate the push-buon using using the indicator on
the back of the Patch.
To apply the Patch...
3. Flip the Patch over and hold the push-buon, with
thumb, for five (5) seconds. You will feel and hear
the push-buon “click.
4. Watch the Wedge SIGNAL indicator flash within six
(6) seconds of releasing the Patch push-buon,
indicang that the Wedge and Patch are paired.
5. Remove the covering from the
adhesive lining on the perimeter of
the underside of the Patch.
6. Place the Patch on the upper-back
in one of the shaded areas
indicated, alternang each week.
For best results...
1. It is reccomended that the patch be placed on the
individual in the morning, that way the me to
change the patch is always in the morning.
2. The Patch should be applied to the area depicted in
the drawing aer cleaning and removing all hair.
3. Place the Patch on a flat area near a shoulder blade.
It should not overlap the shoulder blade and the
spine.
4. Push down at the center and smooth the edges to
adhere the patch uniformly.

Change Patch
When it is me to change the patch at the end of 7
days, a short alarm will sound and the Change Patch
indicator will light. This will repeat and on the 3rd me,
the Change Patch indicator and alarm will stay on
unless the Reset buon is pushed. Aer that, each
push of the reset buon will result in a short alarm-
sounding and a flash of the Change Patch indicator.
The Wedge will stay in this state unl a new Patch is
turned on by holding the buon on the new Patch for
5 seconds.
Signal Strength
The Signal Strength indicator shows how well the
Wedge is receiving the Patch. This is an indicaon of
range, since the signal will be stronger when the
Wedge is closer to the Patch. The indicators will flash
every six (6) seconds, indicang that the Patch is
communicang with the Wedge.
