1 2 Preparing the Machine Installing the Brackets No Parts Required Parts needed for this procedure: Procedure 1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the blade control switch. 2. Move the motion control levers outward to the park position, stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the operating position. 3. Raise the deck to the highest cutting height position.

Install two spacers covering the upper and lower holes in the lift lever face and the offset foot lift plate over the lift lever arm assembly (Figure 4). While maintaining pressure on the pedal, pull inward and up on the height-of-cut lever and move it to the desired position. Procedure 3.
