Installation

InstallingtheKit

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutofftheengine,

engagetheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfrom

theignitionswitch.

2.Usingaliftingdevice,removethetowchassis,hitch

tubeandjackassemblyfromtheshippingcontainer.

Important:Thehitchtubeandjackassemblyis

heavy,soassistancemayberequired.

3.Withthejackpositionedperpendiculartothehitch

tube,crankituptoitsmaximumstroke.Placethejack

footrmlyonthegroundandhaveyourassistantalign

thehitchchannelintothefrontbraceassembly.

Note:Thejackshouldbeontheleftsideofthe

machine,andthegussetontheendofthehitchshould

beontheundersideofthehitchtube(Figure1).

Torque the bolts to 37 to 45 N∙m (27 to 33 ft-lb). Note: The remaining steps may be performed after the ProPass 200 Top Dresser is installed to the tow chassis. 7. Align the tow chassis with the desired tow vehicle. Using the jack on the hitch tube, adjust the hitch until the tow chassis is level. 8.
