SET UP INSTRUCTIONS ATTACH SWEEPER TO TRACTOR IMPORTANT: The maximum PTO speed is 540 RPM. Do not operate at faster speed because the finger reel, sprockets and PTO will be damaged. 1. Connect the PTO half splines) to the tractor. When new, the spring lock lever on the end of the PTQ is hard to operate. Apply grease and work the lever until it snaps in and out freely. In the correct position the lever will spring back out and lock the two shafts together.

WHEELS AND WHEEL BEARINGS (Fig. 3) Grease fittings and wheel bearings every 100 operating hours. Use a No. 2 Lithium based grease. DRIVE CHAIN (Fig. 3) Always maintain a heavy coat of grease on the drive chain. GREASE FITTINGS (Fig.
MAINTENANCE CHANGING HYDRAULIC OIL AND FILTER Normally, change hydraulic oil and filter after every 500 operating hours. it oil becomes contaminated, contact your local TOR Distributor because the system must be flushed. Contaminated oil looks milky or black when compared to clean oil. 1. Remove the belt guard. 2. Loosen the bolts on the bearing. 3. Remove the belt on the pump pulley. 4. At the valve bank, check the stamping on the valves for the OUT and IN pols.
MAINTENANCE (Continued) CHAIN TENSION (Fig. 5) The rear idler sprocket is under spring tension to keep a constant tension on the reel drive chain. To increase tension, resew jam nut (A) clockwise, 1o decrease, turn counterclockwise. A 1/8° deflections recommended. Do not over tighten because the chain will wear rapidly. Do not operate with a loose chain because the sprocket will wear rapidly. idlers Rear Reel e \— Front Reel Figure 5 SWEEPER REELS LEVELING & HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT {Fig.
