Park the machine on a level surface and shut off the engine. Chock or block the wheels. 2. Disconnect the spark plug wire. 3. Raise the rail to the vertical position. 4. Use a car jack under the engine-mounting plate and raise the machine until the front swivel wheels are off the ground. Support the machine using jack stands.

4. Installing the New Tow Tube Remove and retain the 2 bolts and nuts securing the tow pole. 1. Using the existing bolts and nuts in the bottom holes, secure the new tow pole and reinforcement plate to the frame. g332091 Figure 4 1. Nut—1/2 inch (2) 5. 2. 5. Using cable ties as a rigid guide, route the wire harness through the tube. 7. Install the hitch receiver. Torque the bolts to 91 to 113 N∙m (67 to 83 ft-lb). g332096 Figure 6 g332090 Figure 8 6. 1. Nut—1/2 inch (2) Attach the wire harness to the 2 lights and install them to the tube. 8. 2.
