Procedure

1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrollevers

totheneutrallockedpositionandsettheparking

brake.

2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall

movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating

position.

3.Allowtheenginetocooldown.

4.Tilttheseatforwardandremovethefrontengine

panel(Figure1).

5.Removetheknobsandthelowerenginepanelfrom

6.Toreplacethebelt,pullthespringloadedidlerdown

andremovethetractionbeltfromtheengineand

hydropumppulleys(Figure2).

7.Removetheexistingidlerspringandinstallthenew

spring(Figure3andFigure4).

8.Installthenewbeltaroundtheengineandhydro

pumppulleys(Figure2).

9.Pullthespringloadedidlerdownandinstallthe

belt.Releasethepressureonthespringloadedidler

(Figure2).

Install the idler pulley belt guide and curved washer with the previously removed nut (Figure 3 and Figure 4). 2 Installing the Pump Pulley Belt Guides Parts needed for this procedure: 2 Belt guide 2 Bolt (1/2 x 1-1/2 inches) Procedure Figure 7 Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position. 1. Nut and bolt to remove 2. Right side fuel tank 1. Remove the nut and bolt holding the right side pump to the frame. Save the nut. 2. Install the belt guide with a new bolt (1/2 x 1-1/2 inches) and nut previously removed (Figure 6 and Figure 8).
