Procedure

1. Install the clevis to the center boom frame

at the location sho wn in Figure 1 using a

adjustment n ut and jam n ut. Lea v e the n uts

loose to allo w for adjustment of the actuator .

Jam nut Center boom To ensure trouble-free operation, do not allow the extension boom structure to contact any other portion of the boom structure during operation. 2. Install the boom actuators as shown in Figure 2, using 2 clevis pins and 2 cotter pins. Bend the ends of the cotter pins to secure them.

Engage the electric lift to raise the boom to the full, upright position.
