Discharge Tunnel Replacement Kit

Part No. 108-4796

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 locknuts that hold the old

discharge tunnel onto the mower housing.

Note: If possible, save the bolts and locknuts for

installing the new discharge tunnel.

2. Remove the old discharge tunnel from the mower

housing and discard the tunnel (Fig. 1).

3. Position the new discharge tunnel onto the mower

housing (Fig. 2).

Note: Insert the front of the tunnel into the opening.

4. Insert the 2 bolts that you previously removed through

the rear holes of the new discharge tunnel and the

mower housing (Fig. 3).

5. Install the locknuts that you previously removed from under the housing and tighten them to 80 inch-lb (until they are snug). 9. Hook one end of the spring (provided in the kit) through the small hole in the plate. 6. Drill 2 holes (7/32 inch dia.) in the mower housing using the left and right side holes in the discharge tunnel as guides. 4 2 3 7.

12. Slip the wire loop on the discharge tunnel over the outer end of the door hinge (Figs. 8 and 9). 13. Retirez les 2 boulons et les 2 contre-écrous qui fixent l’ancien éjecteur au carter du plateau de coupe. 3. Positionnez le nouvel éjecteur sur le carter du plateau de coupe (Fig. 2). Remarque : Si possible, conservez les boulons et les contre-écrous pour monter le nouvel éjecteur. 2. Déposez l’ancien éjecteur du carter du plateau de coupe et mettez-le au rebut (Fig. 1).

5. Montez les contre-écrous retirés précédemment du dessous du plateau de coupe et serrez-les à 9 Nm (80 pouces-livre) (fermement). 9. Accrochez une extrémité du ressort (fourni dans le kit) dans le petit trou de la plaque. 6. Percez 2 trous (de 7/32 pouce de diamètre) dans le carter du plateau de coupe en vous aidant des trous gauche et droit de l’éjecteur. 4 2 3 7.

12. Passez la boucle métallique située sur l’éjecteur au-dessus de l’extrémité extérieure de la charnière du volet (Fig. 8 et 9). 13.
