Replacement Pump and Manifold Kit

Versa Vac Commercial Debris Collection System

Installation Instructions

The instructions on pages 1 and 2 are to be used on

machines with serial numbers of 220000001 and up.

The instructions on pages 3 and 4 are to be used on the

Goossen Model VV 20000.

1. Park the machine on a clean flat surface, lower all

attachments, shut the tractor engine off and remove the

key from the ignition.

2. Remove the capscrews, washers and nuts securing the

drive shield to the impeller housing (Fig. 1). Remove

the shield.

3. On back side of frame, loosen the capscrew securing

the belt tensioner to the frame (Fig. 2).

4. Position a large wrench on the tensioner. Rotate the

tensioner to release the tension on the capscrew and

nut securing the tensioner guide to the drive mount

(Fig. 2).

5. Remove the capscrew and nut securing the tensioner

guide to the drive mount (Fig. 2). The belt tension will

be released when the capscrew is removed.

6. Remove the belt from the pump pulley (Fig. 2 & 3).

7. Remove the capscrews and washers securing the

pulley bushing and pulley to the pump shaft. Remove

the pulley bushing, woodruff key and the pulley from

the pump shaft (Fig. 3).

8. Place a drain pan under the pump.

9. Disconnect the two hoses and fittings from the top of

the pump (Fig. 4).

10. Disconnect and remove the same two hoses and

fittings from the valve (Fig. 4).

11. Disconnect the hoses and fittings from the bottom of

the pump (Fig. 4).

12. Loosen the hose clamp securing the hose from the

hydraulic fluid reservoir to the manifold tube (Fig. 4).

Remove all loose components.

13. Remove the (2) capscrews, washers and nuts securing

the pump to the frame (Fig. 3).

14. Install the new pump to the frame using the washers

and nuts previously removed (Fig. 3).

5. Remove the capscrew and nut securing the tensioner guide to the drive mount (Fig. 6). The belt tension will be released when the capscrew is removed. The following instructions are to be used on the Goossen Model VV 20000. 1. Assembly and connect the new hoses and fittings to the top of the pump and to the valve. Also, connect the hoses and fittings to the spool valve and control valve (Fig. 9). 7. Cut hose here 18. Loosely assembly the straight fitting, adapter fitting, elbow fittings, suction hoses w/clamps and the manifold tube as shown in figure 9. 19.

At the approximate location shown in figure 10, mark and cut the arm off the old manifold tube. Remove any burrs or sharp edges from the manifold tube arm. 21. At the approximate location shown in figure 8, mark and cut the suction hose into two pieces. 22.

Connect the suction hose from the manifold arm to the new manifold tube with a new hose clamp. 25. Tighten all clamps, hoses and fittings. 26. Mount the woodruff key, pulley and pulley bushing to the pump shaft with the capscrews and washers previously removed (Fig. 7). 27. Insert the belt onto the pump pulley (Fig. 6 & 7). 28. Position a large wrench on the tensioner.
