Subject: Valve clearance adjustment and cylinder head bolt torque requirement.
Engine Head Bolt tightening is required whenever Valve Clearance Adjustment is performed
(first 50 then every 400 hours thereafter). The intervals and values are noted in the
Operator's Manual and the procedures are listed in the Service Manual. Failure to perform
this procedure at the recommended timeframes could result in Head Gasket leaking.
