OPERATING PROCEDURES Emptying The Dust Bag (Figure 4) CAUTION: Use safety equipment when handling the dust bag. Always wear eye protection, dust mask and gloves. 1. Remove the dust bag from the sander. Separate the dust bag (1) from the inlet nozzle housing (2). 2. Shake and/or tap the bag to remove dust and debris. 3. Replace the dust bag (1) on the inlet nozzle (2) in reverse order of removal. 1 2 ! NOTE : Check the sandpaper regularly for tears, cracking, and other damage.
OPERATING PROCEDURES MAINTENANCE 1. Keep the vents clear of dust and debris. This will help prevent possible electrical shorts and ensure proper cooling. 2. Keep the tool housing clean and free of oil and grease using mild soap and a damp (not wet) cloth. 3. Inspect the cord regularly and have it replaced by an authorized repair facility if it is damaged. 4. Lubrication for this tool is done at the factory and should not be necessary again under normal use. 5.
