FILLING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Wear safety goggles and gloves when
filling the torch.
2. Use fuel canister when filling torch
with fuel.
3. Torch must be extinguished before filling.
4. Torch must be cooled to room
temperature before filling the torch.
5. Fill torch in a well-ventilated area free of
fire or other sources of ignition and away
from people.
6. Do not smoke while filling the torch.
7. Hold the torch upside down.
8. Invert the fuel canister and insert the
fuel canister tip into the fill valve on the
bottom of the torch.
9. Push the fuel canister and torch together to
allow fuel to flow into the torch fuel tank.
10. Stop filing if the fuel begins to overflow.
11. After filling, allow fuel to stabilize 3
minutes before igniting the torch.
12. After filling, listen for leaks. Do not use
if leaking.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Hold torch such that flame will be
horizontally (see figure) and pointed away
from face, clothing, and other flammables.
2. Do not use near any fire source, heater or
inflammable (i.e. combustible materials).
3. Slide the switch away from “LOCK”, and
then press the ignition button to ignite.
4. Use the adjusting lever with “+” and “-”
to control the size of the flame.
5. For continuous (hands-free) use, move
switch to “ON” position and let go of the
ignition button. Slide the switch back to
“OFF” promptly after use to extinguish.
6. Be aware of extremely hot nozzle while
using or immediately after use.
7. Slide the switch back to “LOCK” after use.
8. Be sure the torch has already been cooled
down before storing.
NOTE: Air adjustment switch should be in
the “IGNITE” position at all times unless
Soldering Tip is installed (sold separately).
Follow additional instructions supplied with
the Soldering Tip.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Release IGNITION BUTTON.
2. Place “LOCK” in the “OFF” position.
3. Allow several minutes for torch to cool.
4. When torch is cool, store torch out of
reach of children.
5. Do not expose torch to temperatures in
excess of 120°F/50°C.
6. Store torch in well-ventilated areas.

Do not puncture or incinerate container or store at
temperatures above 120°F (50°C).

Ignite torch away from face and clothing.
Make sure torch is extinguished after use.
Never expose to heat above 50˚C (120˚F) or to
prolonged sunlight.
Never puncture or put in fire.
Extreme heat is above the visible flame.
Extra care should be taken to prevent burn injury or fire.
Do not use torch near flammable fumes, liquids, or
explosive materials.
Do not breathe fumes. If inhaled, seek fresh air immediately.
Avoid contact with eyes or skin. In case of contact, flush
immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Do not alter the torch in any way. Serious injury or death
can result from modifications.
WARNINGS
Do not damage the torch.
Do not disassemble or repair.
If torch is leaking or have signs of
damage, do not use.
Ensure that no unintended parts or
materials are being heated.
Work only in well-ventilated areas.
Do not smoke while using the torch.
Bright ambient light (sun, for example)
may make visualization of the torch’s
flame difficult.
Wind may blow heat towards you or
other areas not intended to be heated.
Do not touch torch tip until torch
has cooled.
Do not store until torch has cooled.
When appliance is filled, it will contain
flammable gas under pressure.
Misuse may cause serious injury.
Once lit – never leave the torch
unattended.
Allow nozzle to cool. Nozzle becomes
extremely hot when used. Burn hazard.
Be cautious of toxic vapors that may
emanate from materials being heated.
